Working with Clarity

Wether you're an experienced supervising pharmacist or a newly qualified pharmacist, Clarity Locums always have openings.

By working with Clarity, you can rest assured that you will always be paid on time (this is regardless of wether we've been paid or not).

  • Before working for Clarity Locums, you will need to provide one referee, preferably a supervising pharmacist of a pharmacy you have worked in over the last month.
  • You will also need a photo/scan of your PSI card and a photo ID (e.g. passport or drivers license) in order to verify your identity.
  • To associate tax credits with Clarity Locums you can phone "PAYE anytime", their number is 1890 333 425. They will ask for your PPS number so have it nearby.
  • If you wish to allot tax credits to Clarity Locums, our employer number is 9805511Q. To avoid confusion, our official Companies Registration Office name is "FTP Recruitment Ltd. (trading as Clarity Locums)".
  • For payroll, you must verify all the hours you worked via the locum booking system. You can verify days once your shift is complete. You must verify your days before the last day of the month. If there is an error or you worked extra hours, simply submit a query and we will deal with it straight away.
  • Payroll is processed on the 15th for all work completed in the previous month.
  • Email bulletins are sent one or two times a day (usually at 9am and again in the evening), however the most efficient way of securing bookings is through the online booking system or the smart phone app. Both methods allow one click applications – saving you the effort of texting or replying to emails. In addtion, you also get full access to the real-time job listings.
  • When you are assigned a locum day you will recieve an email with all the job details.
  • At 12:00 on the day before the booking you will recieve a reminder text and email - we require locums to reply to either the text or the email.
  • If at any stage you see something that we are doing that you think we could improve one please let us know, we are always looking at ways to improve our service to locums.
